A evolução recente do modelo de concessão aeroportuária sob a ótica da financiabilidade

Abstract

This article contains a history of the concessions model for the airport sector – since its beginning, in 2011, until today – and an analysis of its evolution, focusing on projects financiability. The sector has faced intensive investments with the program’s opening, which is considered a success case. Having passed only eight years of the first concession, the model was enhanced, rebalancing its risks and incentives and attracting new investors. Some concessions, however, still face difficulties/hindrance, which reveals the opportunity of maintaining the improvement process of the concession model and its regulatory aspects. In this work are included suggestions to contribute in the context of these improvements. The conclusion highlights the creditor’s importance for concessions feasibility.
