| Abstract: | The article seeks to contextualize the understanding of bioeconomy in general and, more specifically, in the context of the Amazon and the challenges of sustainable development. Based on a reflection on the potential of Amazonian biodiversity for various economic sectors, the bottlenecks for expanding credit and the BNDES’s experience in supporting sustainable productive arrangements in the region, some guidelines are suggested to support the building of an agenda for the BNDES’s actions on the subject. |
